Talent Recruitment System
The Teach LA website now includes a new feature called the Talent Recruitment System to help districts find potential teacher and leader candidates and to help potential candidates find vacancies. The Talent Recruitment System matches teacher and leader candidates with districts/school vacancies. This system allows Human Resource personnel to post job vacancies to the Teach Louisiana website, as well as view applicant matches in their inbox. Teachers and leaders are now able to create employment profiles and browse vacancies more easily. To view job vacancies and/or for viewing step-by-step instructions on creating an employment profile, click on the Jobs tab at the top of the home page. Click here to register as a Teach LA account holder and then you will be able to create your Employment Profile.

Louisiana Department of Education's Teacher Preparation Report
We are excited to be able to share with you the Louisiana Department of Education’s (LDOE) report Partners in Preparation: A Survey of Educators and Education Preparation Programs, highlighting some of the current challenges in teacher preparation and licensure in our state and previewing our plan to work with districts and preparation programs to improve the preparation experience for future teacher candidates.
This report is the result of a survey conducted this summer by the LDOE in which we polled new teachers, preparation program faculty, and school and district leaders to better understand how educator preparation supports our state’s shift to higher standards and aligns with school and district needs. The results of this survey are showcased in our report and will guide our plan to work with educators to create a roadmap for strengthening educator preparation so that new teachers will be fully prepared for Louisiana’s classrooms on day one.
Please let us know if you have any questions about the report, survey results, or our future plans to engage stakeholders in this work by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org, as we would greatly value your feedback.
